Analyst Believes Hughes and the Canadiens Hit a Home Run During This Year's NHL Draft

It was definitely a big week for Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.
What caught the most attention, of course, was the acquisition of elite defenseman Noah Dobson, but the Habs also appear to have made some very solid moves at the draft.
One of those great moves is named Alexander Zharovsky.
While appearing on TVA, sports journalist Nicolas Cloutier had a lot to say about this very successful acquisition for Montreal.

But that's not all.
The journalist also emphasized that the Habs pulled off a big move by getting their hands on young forward Zharovsky.
"He was ranked in the top 15 by the Canadiens," Cloutier noted.

Nicolas Cloutier also added that Kent Hughes seriously tried to make a trade to acquire a late first-round pick on Friday night specifically to select Zharovsky.
But in the end, the young forward was still available at 34th overall, and that's when Kent Hughes finally made his move.
