The Montreal Canadiens have called the media for a press conference ahead of tonight's game against the Washington Capitals.

First, as the Habs mention in the release, we do in fact have a first for this season:
"The Canadiens and the Washington Capitals meet Thursday for the first time since their heated five-game Stanley Cup Playoff series in 2025."

The organization also mentions that there will be an opportunity for fans to meet the players of the Montreal Victoire tonight at the Bell Centre.

"It was announced Wednesday that Samuel Montembeault would get the start for Montreal.
