Montreal Canadiens Player Loses 25 Pounds in Surprising Offseason Transformation

We told you about it earlier, but today the Montreal Canadiens officially released an update on the players' height and weight.
There were a few surprises, including one involving Patrik Laine, who is now listed at 218 pounds.
Laine has actually gained weight!
That being said, the opposite is true for another Canadiens player.

Kaapo Kahkonen, 29, was signed by the Canadiens as a free agent on July 1.
Previously listed at 6-foot-2 and 217 pounds, he now measures in at 6-foot-2 and 194 pounds.
Let's see if that helps him become quicker and more agile in net.
Over 140 career NHL games, Kahkonen holds a record of 49 wins, 68 losses, and 15 overtime losses, with a goals-against average of 3.34 and a save percentage of .898.
He's currently competing with Jakub Dobes for the backup role in Montreal behind Samuel Montembeault, but I really believe Dobes will win the job.
Definitely a storyline to watch as camp winds down.
