The arrival of Zachary Bolduc with the Montreal Canadiens took many people by surprise.
It should be recalled that Kent Hughes gave up defenseman
Logan Mailloux to the St. Louis Blues in order to bring the young forward into his lineup, and Bolduc already has an admirer in the locker room among his teammates.
As reported by TVA Sports journalist Anthony Martineau,
Lane Hutson said he was very impressed by the Canadiens' new acquisition and even made a bold prediction.
"Lane Hutson mentions that the player who has impressed him the most since the start of the camp is Zachary Bolduc.
I swear he'll quickly get his chance on the second line."

Off-season acquisition Zachary Bolduc is the player who has impressed Lane Hutson the most since the start of the Canadiens' 2025 training camp
Based on what we've seen since the start of training camp, we should indeed expect Zachary Bolduc to begin the season on the third line.
In 2024-2025, Bolduc recorded 36 points, including 19 goals, in 72 games with the Blues.
We all know his offensive potential-he had back-to-back 50-goal seasons at the junior level with the Quebec Remparts-and should
Patrik Laine or
Kirby Dach struggle, Martin St-Louis will surely not hesitate to insert him into the top six.
He will clearly be a name to watch this season, and he's an addition that could change a lot for the Canadiens.
