Lane Hutson Reveals Newly Acquired Player Who Impressed at Training Camp

The arrival of Zachary Bolduc with the Montreal Canadiens took many people by surprise.
It should be recalled that Kent Hughes gave up defenseman Logan Mailloux to the St. Louis Blues in order to bring the young forward into his lineup, and Bolduc already has an admirer in the locker room among his teammates.
As reported by TVA Sports journalist Anthony Martineau, Lane Hutson said he was very impressed by the Canadiens' new acquisition and even made a bold prediction.

Based on what we've seen since the start of training camp, we should indeed expect Zachary Bolduc to begin the season on the third line.
Unfortunately for the talented Canadiens forward, Bolduc is sidelined with a lower-body injury and is listed as day-to-day, meaning fans will have to wait a bit longer to see him on the ice.
In 2024-2025, Bolduc recorded 36 points, including 19 goals, in 72 games with the Blues.
We all know his offensive potential-he had back-to-back 50-goal seasons at the junior level with the Quebec Remparts-and should Patrik Laine or Kirby Dach struggle, Martin St-Louis will surely not hesitate to insert him into the top six.
He will clearly be a name to watch this season, and he's an addition that could change a lot for the Canadiens.
