- Montreal Canadiens And the full statement from the Canadiens:
Pascal Vincent, 52, was recently the head coach of the Columbus Blue Jackets in the National Hockey League.
Many have criticized him in Columbus for his controversial way of developing some young talents like Kent Johnson, but he has always excelled at doing so in the American Hockey League.
He has worked with young players such as Kyle Connor, Cole Perfetti, Mason Appleton, and Ville Heinola.
We want to welcome Pascal Vincent to the great Montreal Canadiens organization and to the Laval Rocket.
He will be able to work with young players like Owen Beck, Filip Mesar, Sean Farrell, Michael Hage, and possibly with Joshua Roy, David Reinbacher, Logan Mailloux, Lane Hutson, and others.
