Joshua Roy Makes His Feelings Known After Being Cut by the Canadiens

A few days ago, several players were cut from the Montreal Canadiens' training camp, including forward Joshua Roy.
Following the disappointment of his removal from the Canadiens' lineup and reassignment to Laval, Quebec native Joshua Roy has finally addressed the situation.
Via a TVA Sports article, Roy had this to say following the decision made by the Canadiens' management:
"There's still a lot of work to do on my game and on the small details that will allow me to reach the next level."
"I need to offer more than just offense.
I need to become better defensively, that would become an asset."
"I've put in the effort and given myself the best chance.

Joshua Roy joins the Laval Rocket with an excellent mindset
This is exactly the response we were hoping for.
His message directed at Kent Hughes and the Canadiens' management is clear.
He wants to keep improving, give his all in Laval, work on becoming a more complete player, and force them to call him back up to Montreal.
Credit to him for his response, and credit to him for sending exactly the right message to Kent Hughes (at least publicly) following his reassignment.
He'll be a name to watch early in the season with the Rocket!
