Unusual Scene Live From Brossard Involving Canadiens Forward Patrik Laine

As reported by the excellent Marc-Olivier Cook, we witnessed a rather unusual scene this morning live from Brossard involving forward Patrik Laine.
While all the Montreal Canadiens players were together on the second ice surface, one player was missing.. Patrik Laine! But where was he you ask?
Laine was all alone on his own rink, taking shots on goal.
Several journalists noted the unusual and quite special nature of this situation.

In the end, Laine eventually rejoined his teammates a little later and was greeted by head coach Martin St-Louis, who had a good discussion with his number 92 forward.
Following all this, we learned that Laine was removed from the Montreal Canadiens' second line, and replaced by Brendan Gallagher.
Strange situation surrounding Patrik Laine
I'm eager to see what all of this means for the start of the Montreal Canadiens' regular season.
Will Patrik Laine regain his spot on the second line with Kirby Dach?
One thing is certain: Gilbert Delorme seems to have a very clear opinion regarding the Finnish forward of the Canadiens.
It's unfortunate because Laine really seems to want to improve and increase his impact at 5-on-5, but so far, it simply isn't working.
