Since last night, we've all been looking for positive updates regarding the length of Ivan Demidov's absence and the injury he suffered.
The well-known Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet just published this:
"Don't believe there's any long-term injury concern for Demidov after the slash he took last night."

Let's remember that after this unnecessary slash, Demidov left the game and wasn't even able to return to the ice to accept his third star of the game.
Demidov, 19 years old, was the 5th overall pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2024 and recorded 2 points in 2 games last season.
Cousins, 32 years old, was the 68th overall pick by the Philadelphia Flyers in 2011 and recorded 15 points in 50 games last season.
