Montreal Canadiens Get Two Big Surprises in Brossard as Reinforcements Arrive

We hadn't seen Kaiden Guhle and Noah Dobson on the ice since the announcement of their injuries, which was quite concerning, but this morning brought two very welcome surprises.

I believe the return to the ice of defensemen Guhle and Dobson has already been widely covered today, so I wanted to bring it up to emphasize one very specific and very important point.

Not only were Guhle and Dobson on the ice, but they were already wearing regular jerseys (with contact).

Both really seemed to be back at 100%!

This already seems to confirm that both defensemen will indeed be in their spots for the Montreal Canadiens' first regular-season game.

Things are therefore looking very good for defensemen Guhle and Dobson.

Unlike young David Reinbacher, everything indicates that they won't miss any games following what happened during the preseason matchup in Montreal against the Toronto Maple Leafs.

At 25 years old, Noah Dobson is a mobile right-handed defenseman standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 200 pounds. He tallied 39 points in 71 games last season with the Islanders.

The season before, he recorded 70 points in 79 games.
