A Specific Request from Sam Bennett for Teams Like the Montreal Canadiens
Max Truman shared some very interesting info in a recent article, and it directly concerns the asking price for Bennett.
"The problem is, his team hasn't been eliminated yet.. and he's going to ask for a ton of money.
I was recently told he wants at least $8 million per season.. in a tax-friendly environment.
That means at least $9.5 or $10 million in a place like Quebec."
- Maxime Truman
Essentially, Truman mentions that he recently learned Bennett would ask for at least $9.5 to $10 million per year in a market like Quebec, and for a team like the Montreal Canadiens.
So, the ask and the price tag are crystal clear.
