The Montreal Canadiens announce the signing of 26-year-old forward Alexandre Texier

We mentioned it earlier this week, and it is now officially confirmed! Alexandre Texier is now a Montreal Canadiens player.
That's not all!
Following this announcement, another roster move was completed by the Habs, they announced the recall of young defenseman Adam Engstrom.
Engstrom has played 18 games with Laval this season, recording 14 points (5G, 9A). The 22-year-old leads all AHL defensemen in goals and all Rocket blueliners in assists and points.
See the official announcement from the Habs:

Texier, a native of Saint-Martin-d'Hères, FR, skated in 240 career NHL games since making his debut in 2018-19. The 6-foot-1, 196-pound forward produced 91 points (40G, 51A) in addition to serving 94 penalty minutes."
