TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie asked him a seemingly simple question.

Once again, Dobes looked away and repeated:

I'll admit that I have absolutely no idea why Dobes reacted in such an odd way. We obviously don't have the full context, but Renaud Lavoie's question seemed rather "normal" and "typical" to me.

The most plausible explanation, in my humble opinion, is simply that there was a small misunderstanding between Renaud Lavoie and Jakub Dobes. Unless Dobes misunderstood the question? In any case, it was quite a strange and unusual moment.
