A simple announcement from the Laval Rocket has just caused an uproar among Montreal Canadiens fans.
For obvious reasons, the following update on
David Reinbacher is creating a lot of concern.
"Defenseman David Reinbacher is not participating in today's practice (treatment day)."
- Laval Rocket
You can imagine that the entire Canadiens organization is holding its breath.
An announcement involving David Reinbacher that raises concern
Let's recall that last season, when everything seemed to be going well for David Reinbacher after his return to action, the problems started again when we began seeing this kind of announcement. This is therefore a situation to monitor within the Montreal Canadiens organization and for the future of the team's defense, in the ongoing issue of "injuries."
We'll provide updates as soon as more information becomes available. For now, it's unclear whether this is related to Reinbacher's knee or to the recent shot he blocked.
"David Reinbacher seemed to get hurt blocking this shot. Good news is that he returned to play in OT"
- Chris G
We simply hope he isn't injured at all! He needs to keep playing games, and he needs to prove he can stay healthy over a prolonged period. As you can see in the comments section under the Rocket's post, it's generating a lot of discussion and worry.
It remains just a treatment day, so let's wait and see - but when it involves Reinbacher, unfortunately, there are reasons to be concerned quickly.
Reinbacher, 21, has 7 points in 10 games this season with the Laval Rocket, along with a +1 differential.
To be continued in any case!
