A special scene unfolds in the Canadiens' locker room after their 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs

The Canadiens backed it up with one of their strongest games in a while, earning a solid 5-2 win over the Maple Leafs and controlling the pace for most of the night.

Who says "return to the win column for the Tricolore" also says "return of the famous victory video" on the Canadiens' official page.

And last night's is really interesting!

It all begins as we see the injured Habs players welcoming their teammates to congratulate them on the nice victory, so we notably see Kaiden Guhle, Patrik Laine, and Kirby Dach.

And it continues with congratulations for Florian Xhekaj and Noah Dobson, who both had excellent hockey games!

Head coach Martin St-Louis then gives the game puck to young Florian Xhekaj, who was making his debut as a rookie, before personally giving out the new player-of-the-game hat, which is quite interesting because normally it's the players who award it among themselves (and not the head coach who gives it out).

So, to whom did Martin St-Louis give the wolf head of victory?

Noah Dobson? Josh Anderson? Florian Xhekaj?

None of the above... He surprised many and awarded it to his goaltender Jakub Dobes! Wow!

I really see this as a nice nod to Dobes (coming from Martin St-Louis) and a nice little pat on the back. Is there a new number-one goaltender for the Montreal Canadiens?

I love seeing that from Martin St-Louis, even if a player like Noah Dobson probably would've been a bit more deserving.

One thing's for sure, I fully expect to see Jakub Dobes back in the Habs' net for the next game.
