We have a few updates to report involving the Montreal Canadiens ahead of Wednesday night's game against the Utah Mammoth.

There are some key points to note ahead of tomorrow night's game.
The western road trip opens with potentially concerning news for Arber Xhekaj.

Arber Xhekaj was rotating with Adam Engstrom during Montreal Canadiens practice live from Utah

Martin St-Louis is clearly considering removing the Sheriff from the lineup in favour of the newly called up Engstrom.
At the very least, it shows that Xhekaj is currently slotted as the sixth defenceman,
and that any move to insert Engstrom into the lineup (as many anticipate) would come directly at Xhekaj's expense.
Matheson - Dobson

Struble - Hutson

Xhekaj / Engstrom - Carrier

Please note that Martin St-Louis refused to reveal his lineup for tomorrow's game.

The Canadiens make an announcement in goal involving Jakub Dobes

As mentioned previously in our earlier coverage, the Canadiens did make a goaltending announcement, confirming that Jakub Dobes will be the starting goalie for the game against the Utah Mammoth.
It will be a solid test for the young Dobes, who appears to have a real chance to seize the Canadiens' number-one goaltending job.
Wednesday is shaping up to be an exciting one!
