Former Promising Canadiens Forward Officially Leaves NHL, Inks Deal Overseas

We have news about a former Montreal Canadiens forward. We're talking about Jesse Ylonen, who has indeed packed his bags for Europe.
This has just been announced.
"News: Nashville Predators right winger Jesse Ylonen has signed a two-year contract with Djurgardens (SHL), starting in the 2025-26 season."
He will therefore continue his career in Sweden!
It's clearly over for him in the National Hockey League, which is quite unfortunate, but we sincerely wish him the best of luck moving forward.
Ylonen is not the only one who has headed to Europe in an effort to revive his career.
Former Montreal Canadiens Forward Jesse Ylonen Heading to Europe
At one point, he was seen as a promising piece for the future of the Canadiens, but unfortunately, things never worked out for him.
Jesse Ylonen, 25, is originally from Scottsdale, Arizona, and is a 6-foot-2, 193-pound winger.
He was selected 35th overall by the Montreal Canadiens in 2018 and recorded 29 points in 111 career NHL games, including 12 goals.
In the AHL, Ylonen posted 35 points in 66 games this season with the farm teams of the Nashville Predators and Tampa Bay Lightning, and had 32 points in 39 games in his most recent season with the Laval Rocket (2022-23).
As recently as last season, Ylonen played 59 games with the Canadiens.
