We have some important breaking news regarding the Montreal Canadiens' lineup.
Unfortunately, the experiment with the line of Patrik Laine, Kirby Dach, and Ivan Demidov really didn't seem to be working, so I was honestly wondering why the new acquisition, Zachary Bolduc, still hadn't been given his chance on the second line.
Indeed, there's been a big change this morning live from Brossard in Martin St-Louis' line combinations, as Demidov has been demoted to the third line (with Alex Newhook and Oliver Kapanen) and a new winger has been placed on the second line.
The Canadiens announce a demotion to the third line for Ivan Demidov: Zachary Bolduc replaces him on the second line
Zachary Bolduc is now on the Montreal Canadiens' second line, which is excellent and very well-deserved, but I really would have liked to see a line with Bolduc, Dach, and Ivan Demidov.
"Dach and Laine are in white and Demidov is in red this morning"
