The Montreal Canadiens are already preparing to enter the final stage of their 2025 training camp.
Following the preseason games against the Toronto Maple Leafs, there was also a first big wave of cuts (for those who may have missed it).
Some players were also placed on NHL waivers by Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton.
So, we're really getting closer to the start of the season!
That said, we wanted to circle back to young Lane Hutson, who clearly seems poised to have another outstanding season.
The Toronto Maple Leafs players still can't believe Lane Hutson's talent
Yes, Lane Hutson is without a doubt THE best acquisition by Kent Hughes so far.
Young Ivan Demidov could soon surpass him, but especially considering that Lane Hutson was just a 2nd-round draft pick, I truly believe he's the best acquisition of the current management team.
The Toronto Maple Leafs players are unanimous on this.
