Canadiens Reportedly Working Hard on Trade to Bring Star Defenceman Noah Dobson to Montreal

We have our first major development involving the Montreal Canadiens just hours ahead of the 2025 NHL Draft.
TVA Sports journalist Anthony Martineau has just reported that the Canadiens are currently working hard to try and acquire defenseman Noah Dobson.
He has officially been targeted by Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton as part of an effort to pull off a major trade.
The Montreal Canadiens Are Hunting to Acquire Noah Dobson
According to the latest reports, there's a real chance that Dobson could be traded by tomorrow night.

As expected, Martineau's post triggered a ton of reactions on social media:
So we know the Canadiens are working to try and acquire Noah Dobson - but will they succeed?
That's the big question.
Noah Dobson, 25 years old, is a right-shot defenseman standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 200 pounds. He recorded 39 points in 71 games this season with the Islanders.
Last season, he put up 70 points in 79 games.
