Leafs GM Makes Official Announcement on Mitch Marner, Opening the Door for the Canadiens

We've just received a major last-minute announcement from the Toronto Maple Leafs involving star forward Mitch Marner.
For the very first time, the Leafs' GM has publicly admitted that Marner will become an unrestricted free agent (UFA) next Tuesday, barring a major last-minute surprise.
Wow!
It's real-Marner will hit the open market, and Kent Hughes will have his number one option available in free agency.
Will he be able to present an offer strong enough to convince Marner?

At 28 years old, the 6-foot forward Mitch Marner tallied 102 points in 81 games this season, after recording 85 points in 69 games last year.
