Several experts believe that the Montreal Canadiens are just one solid second-line center away from being an excellent NHL team as early as this season.
We already know that Kent Hughes contacted the Boston Bruins to try to make a trade to bring center Pavel Zacha to Montreal.
Proposal: A trade between the Canadiens and Bruins involving Pavel Zacha, Owen Beck, and a 1st-round pick
Now that's intriguing.. And Marco's response was also interesting!
"On the most recent episode of the PoolCast, I was asked if I would agree to trade a 1st-round pick along with young forward Owen Beck in return for Zacha, who would come in to solve the team's problem at center.
Pavel Zacha, 28 years old, is a big left-handed center standing 6'3" and weighing 206 lbs. He was the 6th overall pick by the New Jersey Devils in 2015 and has indeed recorded 47 and 59 points in his last two seasons with the Bruins.
