NHL Announces Official Change to a Goal Scored by the Canadiens Tonight vs Red Wings
The National Hockey League has indeed announced a rather unexpected (and disappointing) change regarding the fourth goal scored by the Montreal Canadiens in Detroit.
Unfortunately, you can forget about the third goal of the season scored by Quebecer
Zachary Bolduc.
That goal has been changed again, and it was awarded to another Quebecer, defenseman
Alexandre Carrier.
"Hatty Watch cancelled, goal belongs to Alex Carrier."
- Marco D'Amico
The fourth goal scored by the Montreal Canadiens is taken away from Zachary Bolduc and awarded to Alexandre Carrier
The goal had initially been credited to Carrier.
It was then changed, in favor of Bolduc.
And now it has finally been changed again, this time officially added to Alexandre Carrier's record.
"They took away Zack Bolduc's second goal and gave it to Alex Carrier, I guess he didn't deflect the puck, even though you could clearly hear the puck hit a stick in the building."
- Arpon Basu
We still have to highlight Zachary Bolduc's excellent game, once again, as he finished the matchup against the Red Wings with 1 goal, a +2 rating, four shots on net.. In just under 15 minutes of ice time.
All in all, he seems to be developing some really nice chemistry with veteran
Brendan Gallagher!
What an addition by Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens, this Zack Bolduc!
