Alexey Toropchenko signing alert
As the NHL offseason progresses swiftly, the St. Louis Blues have resolved another matter this Sunday.
They have announced the signing of forward Alexey Toropchenko to a two-year contract worth a total of $2.5 million.
Toropchenko, 24 years old, stands at an imposing 6 feet 6 inches and 225 pounds. He was drafted by the Blues in 2017 and tallied around twenty points (10 goals) with St. Louis in the NHL last season.
He also contributed 3 points in 5 games in the AHL.
By agreeing to this deal, he successfully avoids salary arbitration.
