We once again have action on the NHL waiver wire today, this time involving a centerman.
I don't know if this could interest Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens, but just know that a centerman is currently available for free.

David Gustafsson, 25 years old, is a 6-foot-2, 196-pound centerman who was the 60th overall pick by the Winnipeg Jets in the 2018 NHL Draft (2nd round pick).
He has 20 points in 149 career NHL games, including 6 goals, and played 36 games with the Winnipeg Jets last season.
In the AHL, with the Jets' farm team, Gustafsson has posted 19 points in 22 games, 30 points in 47 games, and 3 points in 6 games over the last three seasons.
Romanov, 25 years old, is a 6-foot-5, 207-pound goaltender who has 10 games of NHL experience. He has a 3.53 goals-against average with the struggling San Jose Sharks and a .888 save percentage.
