St-Louis' Blunt Postgame Comment on Arber Xhekaj Raises Questions About His Lineup Spot

Last night after the game, head coach Martin St-Louis was asked to comment on Arber Xhekaj's performance. And let's just say his response spoke volumes!
His reaction said a lot, as he bluntly stated that Xhekaj was simply "okay."

We have some hints pointing in that direction, but we'll have to wait and see in the next few hours.
St-Louis really didn't seem impressed by Xhekaj's game in Toronto.
On BPM Sports, Renaud Lavoie mentioned that Martin St-Louis thought Arber Xhekaj's game was 'okay' last night.
"St-Louis mentioned that Xhekaj played 11-12 minutes (for a reason) and that he was "okay."

Looking at the game sheet, Xhekaj logged 11 minutes and 8 seconds, blocked two shots, delivered one hit, and fired two shots on goal.
The second least-used defenseman for the Canadiens last night was Alexandre Carrier at nearly 18 minutes, while Xhekaj barely played 11.. That says a lot!
It's going to take more for "The Sheriff" to earn Martin St-Louis's trust.
