Montreal Canadiens forward Juraj Slafkovsky has always said what he thinks in front of journalists, and he keeps away from the infamous clichés.
Recently, he sent out an extremely clear message.
He's fed up with excuses, he's fed up with talking, and he simply wants to get moving.. He wants to perform!

He doesn't beat around the bush!
In an interview with Arpon Basu (The Athletic), Slafkovsky stated "that he doesn't just want to say he has to do better: he wants it to show on the ice."
We can't wait to see it, but his message is very clear!

He says he worked extremely hard this summer, harder than in the summer of 2024!
"I'm trying not to talk too much and do the job on the ice.
(Last year) I would always talk every day about what I need to do and then I wasn't doing it and then I just came back and I was saying it again," Slafkovsky said.
"So, yeah, stop the talking and do the job."

If Slaf really does have a big 2025-2026 season, it could truly be a game changer for the Montreal Canadiens and for his line.
And of course, it will go far beyond the stats!
