The young defenseman for the Montreal Canadiens, Lane Hutson, indeed delivered very harsh criticism of himself after his team's loss in Toronto.

According to Marco Normandin, from HABSolumentFan. He outright took the blame for the defeat...

Lane Hutson publicly puts the Montreal Canadiens' loss on his own shoulders

Here's an excerpt from his exact statement:
"We played well, but sometimes it only takes one play to change everything.

It's on me, but I have to move on.

When I saw Mike break his stick, I tried to disrupt the opposing play, but I made contact with him and lost my own stick.

It's tough - I need to be better for my team.

I guess that's part of the game, but I could've reacted faster on that sequence."

- Lane Hutson

In my humble opinion, he's being way too hard on himself with these comments, but one thing is certain: expect quite the performance from Lane Hutson tonight against the Red Wings.
He really, really wasn't happy with himself last night!
"Lane Hutson said Leafs 3rd goal is his fault."

- Renaud Lavoie
His full media availability is right here:
I don't fully agree with him, but I'm still very eager to see how he bounces back tonight against the Detroit Red Wings!
