Embarrassing scene at Maple Leafs' practice ahead of must win game 2

Once again, the Toronto Maple Leafs are making headlines for the wrong reasons during the NHL playoffs.

The day after their 5-1 loss on Saturday night to the Boston Bruins, their head coach declared an optional practice.

According to some experts, it was a test by the coach to see which players were truly motivated.

Usually, when a team loses a playoff game, especially when a team loses so convincingly, all players show up to practice (for obvious reasons).

However, this was really not the case with the Leafs.

Yes, it unfortunately says a lot about their motivation.

It may sound cliché, and easy to say, but it's no coincidence that this group of players has such difficulty winning in the playoffs, despite the obvious talent on this team.

It's not with such an attitude that they're going to beat the Boston Bruins.

Don't be surprised if the Leafs are eliminated in the first round of the NHL playoffs again and again.
