In the last few minutes, the Hockey East network has officially announced its all-star team for the 2023-24 season, and none other than the young Lane Hutson, from the Montreal Canadiens, is among the two defensemen selected.
He is solid, this youngster, and Martin St-Louis will have very high-quality reinforcements when he officially arrives with the CH. It should happen within a few weeks, in fact.
Hutson, 20 years old, has amassed a very solid 43 points (12 goals) in 32 games this season at Boston University, after a haul of 48 points in 39 games last season.
He really has had an NCAA career worthy of Adam Fox, Cale Makar, and Quinn Hughes. It will be interesting to see how all this will translate into the National Hockey League.
