François-David Rouleau published a very interesting article about 6-foot-1 forward Laurent Dauphin in the Montreal Canadiens organization.
In the end, he only played 21 short games with the Coyotes before becoming a regular player again in the American Hockey League...
A few years later, Dauphin decided to return to the Montreal Canadiens organization and correct his 2022 mistake.
Today, where does the 30-year-old Quebec forward stand?
"I'm not really holding on to the possibility of returning to the NHL anymore."

Laurent Dauphin openly admits that he has pretty much given up on the idea of returning to the NHL one day - at least as a regular player
And that's not so bad, since he's truly happy in his role as a veteran with the Laval Rocket, and he genuinely wants to fully focus on the Canadiens' farm team!
Here's an excerpt from Mr. Rouleau's article:
"It's not because he signed a rare two-year contract last spring that Laurent Dauphin is going to rest on his laurels with the Rocket this season. Having not tasted the NHL for 30 months, the forward has made peace with it. Still, in his 10th season in the American Hockey League (AHL), he's ready to have his best season yet.
The Laval Rocket forward says he is fully happy in his role as a 10-season veteran in the American League."

It's truly an interesting article, one we strongly recommend, and congratulations to Laurent Dauphin for his commitment to the Laval Rocket.
It's much more important and significant for the organization than he might think!
Pascal Vincent is definitely very lucky to have him "down there."
