The head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Martin St-Louis, spoke to the media in a press conference in the last few minutes.
Adam Engstrom was recalled from the Laval Rocket, and
Alexandre Texier was signed by Kent Hughes (a one-year contract worth one million dollars).
Martin St-Louis refuses to answer a question involving Adam Engstrom and Alexandre Texier
"Martin St. Louis says he's still not sure how he will use new forward Alexandre Texier or who his linemates might be at this point."
- Stu Cowen
To watch the press conference in question, it's right here:
Martin St-Louis did, however, agree to reveal this:
"We like the potential of the player or else we wouldn't have signed him and now it's how we're going to use that and I don't know yet.
Martin St-Louis says he doesn't know how quickly Alexandre Texier will get into the line-up or who he will play with when he does draw into a game; right now it's about Texier getting acclimated with the team, learning their systems."

I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens next, but yes, it's definitely a good thing to see internal competition, both up front and on defense.
