At this point, pretty much all of Montreal knows that the captain of the Canadiens, Nick Suzuki, suffered a lower-body injury.

It's already been dragging on for a few weeks, it made him miss several practices, and it clearly impacted his performances during games.
So we were eager to see where Nick Suzuki was at today, after a few days off (including yesterday).
Well, we just got the confirmation we were waiting for!

Nick Suzuki was back at practice today!

What fantastic news!
"Even though he's not at 100%, captain Nick Suzuki is on the ice this morning in Brossard."

- Guillet
This confirms that his injury is healing more and more, and it confirms that we will soon see the real Nick Suzuki again, which will be huge for the Montreal Canadiens.
And that's not all... Not only was Suzuki back on the ice today, but he even put in extra time before practice and was among the first players to jump on the ice!
We'll take those good news moments, especially these days!
The first player on the ice was obviously, yet again, young Lane Hutson:
Let's hope Suzuki finds his rhythm again and delivers a solid game against the Capitals tomorrow.
Nick Suzuki, 26 years old, has 21 points in 19 games this season, including 4 goals, which is obviously exceptional, especially considering he played some of those 19 games while being fairly seriously injured/hampered.
Lane Hutson, 21 years old, has 16 points in 19 games this season, including 2 goals, and he continues his momentum since arriving in the NHL.
Suzuki and Hutson are, respectively, the 1st and 3rd highest scorers for the Montreal Canadiens this season (Cole Caufield and Ivan Demidov are 2nd and 4th).
