Things are really not going well for Montreal Canadiens goaltender Samuel Montembeault, and some of his teammates are starting to worry about him.
According to TVA Sports journalist Renaud Lavoie, veteran Mike Matheson, acting a bit like a big brother, reportedly suggested the idea of giving Monty a short break of a few games.

It's simply an act of kindness from a friend and a veteran who simply believes his goalie probably needs a short break to refocus and hit a little "reset."
Matheson also added:
"We're just giving up way too much: odd man rushes, breakaways, point blank shots in the slot. No matter how your goalie's feeling, that's not gonna help them. We gotta fix that, we gotta find a way to stop it."
