We have a last-minute announcement from the Montreal Canadiens as the team is trying to shake things up ahead of a crucial game against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
There's action this Friday night, as once again, Kent Hughes and the Canadiens' management are ending the Joshua Roy experiment in Montreal.
Clearly, it's not working for the Quebecer.
To replace Roy, the Canadiens have just announced the call-up of a familiar name!
It's over for Joshua Roy with the Montreal Canadiens for now: Florian Xhekaj arrives immediately as reinforcement!
As Roy's stint in Montreal ends for now with another loan to Laval, Florian Xhekaj steps in to take his spot.

Florian Xhekaj, 21 years old, is a power forward standing 6-foot-4 and weighing 204 pounds. He was a 4th-round pick by the Montreal Canadiens in 2023 (101st overall).
