Martin St-Louis suddenly leaves Canadiens practice after 25 minutes and the footage goes viral
We just witnessed another pretty unusual scene, in the last few minutes, live from the Montreal Canadiens' practice in Brossard.
After an intense 25 minutes, spent entirely on a single drill, head coach Martin St-Louis suddenly shouted "That's it" and immediately left the ice.
Both the journalists and the players looked stunned.
Martin St-Louis causes a surprise and leaves the Montreal Canadiens' regular practice after only 25 minutes
"That's it," Martin St-Louis said as he left the ice, after ONE single forechecking drill that lasted 25 minutes.
He left his players behind him, out of breath.
His message was sent."

And this wasn't a morning skate, this was a full regular practice.
It's not unusual to see a morning skate (the morning of a game day) last about thirty minutes, but it is very unusual to see a regular practice be this short and quick.
Regular practices usually run about 90 minutes, and with individual drills they can stretch to nearly two hours.
Clearly, Martin St-Louis had a message to send by leaving after just 25 short minutes.
We certainly had a lot of action!
Let's also remember that Martin St-Louis' squad is back in action tomorrow night, once again live from Montreal, this time against the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The Canadiens have yet to announce their starting goaltender for this divisional matchup.
