We have some bad news to report concerning two Montreal Canadiens forwards - including Kirby Dach.
Earlier today, it was revealed that the Canadiens will hold a practice at 11:30 a.m. after returning from their Western road trip.
The organization has just announced that Kirby Dach and
Brendan Gallagher will both miss today's practice because they are feeling discomfort and need to undergo treatments.
No, it's not a "catastrophe," it's not "terrible news," but yes - it's still bad news to say the least...
We've often been told that there's nothing to worry about when it comes to those so-called "treatment days."
Well, the last few times players missed practice for "treatment days," here's what happened:
Noah Dobson played hurt and was unrecognizable for a few games,
Zachary Bolduc played injured (groin) and has looked off for several games,
Now, the goal here isn't to scare anyone - far from it - but simply to point out that a "treatment day" isn't always as harmless as it sounds.
So this is definitely a situation to keep an eye on for the Canadiens.
Kirby Dach and Brendan Gallagher absent today for the Montreal Canadiens
Here's the official confirmation from the team:
"Forwards Kirby Dach and Brendan Gallagher (therapy day) will not participate in today's practice."

So, the Habs are practicing right now in Brossard - without Kirby Dach and Brendan Gallagher.
