As we reported in the last few minutes, Evgenii Dadonov was again absent today for the Montreal Canadiens.
This is nothing to calm down the rumors that he could be traded or placed on waivers by the organization:

"Naturally, the sudden need for treatment for Evgenii Dadonov, days after he was scratched from the lineup, it's fueling a lot of reasonable speculation that he'll eventually be released, to make room in the lineup for Joel Edmundson, he of all people, who doesn't have the green light from the docs yet."
Engels adds that it's unsustainable for Kent Hughes to keep 15 forwards. So it's reasonable to speculate on what's in store for Dadonov.
