Kent Hughes' first major trade, which sent Tyler Toffoli to the Flames, was generally well received by hockey fans.
But for some teammates of the former number 73 of the Canadians, his departure will certainly cause a heavy loss, not only on the ice, but also in the locker room, because Toffoli was a player very appreciated by his teammates.
Among them is forward Jake Evans. The latter made a gesture of solidarity by accompanying Toffoli to the airport, where he will join his new team in Calgary.
Toffoli can be seen here with his gear, in a photo Jake Evans posted to his Instagram account thanking him for everything and saying he will be greatly missed by the team.
Beyond the sport, friendships are created within a hockey team and with this publication, it shows all the respect that Evans have for Tyler Toffoli.
We wish him good luck with his new team.
