Vladimir Tarasenko Is Being Shopped on the Trade Market
Connections were quickly made to the Montreal Canadiens, who are looking to surround young Ivan Demidov with veterans and are openly seeking offensive talent.
What's interesting with Tarasenko is that the asking price to acquire him is likely low, which could make this a real bargain.
Tarasenko, 33 years old, is a 6-foot-1, 219-pound winger who recorded 33 points in 80 games this season in a reduced role in Detroit-but has otherwise remained quite productive.
60 points per 82 games in 2023
And 90 points per 82 games in 2022
This is definitely a situation to watch, as the forward is making $4.75 million per year until next summer only.
Do you think this could be a solid Plan B for Kent Hughes and his staff?
