We have a signing to announce within the Montreal Canadiens organization.
This signing will have an impact on the Trois-Rivières Lions for now (the Canadiens' ECHL affiliate, the third level of the organization), but it could also become interesting for the Habs down the line.
Forward Isaac Dufort signs within the Montreal Canadiens organization
Here's the official announcement:
"Isaac Dufort is back with the Lions!
The forward will provide solid support to the team, both offensively and defensively. He will also disrupt the opponent with his physical play!"
- Trois-Rivières Lions
Isaac Dufort, 22 years old, is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound forward from Laval, Quebec. He recorded 20 points (14 goals) in 56 games last season with the Lions, adding 7 points in 21 playoff games.
In junior hockey, Dufort played four seasons with the Baie-Comeau Drakkar (QMJHL), where he notably tallied 46 points in 59 games during his final season there.
We'd like to once again welcome him back to the organization!
With the Laval Rocket's regular season now underway, it's time for the Lions (the third level of the organization) to finalize their roster for the 2025-26 season.
Don't be surprised if we see the young Dufort again at the next Montreal Canadiens training camp.
