We have an update regarding the possibility of a trade involving Montreal Canadiens forward Patrik Laine happening this summer.
Summer Trade for Patrik Laine? We Can Probably Forget It
That's what Seravalli mentioned in the past few hours.
Re Patrik Laine trade odds: "I think probably pretty unlikely at this point, let's see how the season starts, let's see what kind of productivity level he finds."
- Frank Seravalli
I wonder if his absolutely amazing attitude this summer played a role for Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton..
Laine is still hitting the ice in Brossard (often first), he's working incredibly hard, and he truly seems to have rediscovered his passion!
It's a great sight and very promising moving forward. Laine, 27 years old, recorded 33 points in 52 games last season with the Canadiens, including 20 goals.
He also seems to be developing solid chemistry with young
Ivan Demidov, and the two are likely to start next season on the same line - so everything here is looking 100% positive.
