Sidney Crosby's name has started making the rounds again with the Montreal Canadiens.
In short, we've had two more very intriguing statements.
Frank Seravalli and Pierre LeBrun say the same thing: Kent Hughes and the Canadiens would do "whatever it takes" to acquire Sidney Crosby
You can interpret it as you wish, but here's what Seravalli said:
Frank Seravalli: "There is zero doubt.. the Montreal Canadiens would do anything to get their hands on Sidney Crosby; but.. the Penguins are in a spot where they're not gonna approach their captain, it's gonna be up to Crosby
- Bleacher Report
As for Pierre LeBrun, he essentially said the same thing, stating that "the Montreal Canadiens' management would move heaven and earth to pull off a trade for Sidney Crosby."
So, what exactly are Kent Hughes and the Canadiens prepared to do to acquire Sidney Crosby? Everything - or almost!
This will definitely be a fascinating story to follow if the Pittsburgh Penguins end up having another miserable season, which honestly looks like the most realistic scenario anyway!
