In the last few minutes, renowned informer Frank Seravalli has revealed some very interesting information about the Montreal Canadiens.

With a congestion within the Canadiens' offense, especially following the signing of Sean Monahan, it appears that forward Mike Hoffman is now available, free of charge.

"They would be ready to let him go for nothing, but do not want to add a draft pick to get rid of him. The other option would be to keep him until the trade deadline. Perhaps his value would be better at that time." - Frank Seravalli.

Hoffman, 33, has scored 14 goals, and 34 points, in 67 games this season with the Habs. He earns 4.5 million dollars per season until 2024.
