Last-Minute Major Statement on a Trade Involving Kirby Dach and Pierre-Luc Dubois
The imminent trade case of Pierre-Luc Dubois continues to generate a lot of buzz and remains a hot topic in most sports shows.
The most recent podcast "32 Thoughts" featuring the reputable insider Elliotte Friedman from Sportsnet, was no exception.
As you may know, the Winnipeg Jets allegedly asked the Montreal Canadiens for Kirby Dach, in a trade involving Dubois.
However, even though we'd really like Kent Hughes to acquire Dubois, we do not want to see Dach leave, and some fans have been concerned since this information came out.
But today, we have good news for you.
Dach won't go to Winnipeg
According to what Friedman just mentioned, and it makes perfect sense, we can forget about the idea of Dach being traded to the Jets.
If Montreal wanted to trade Dach for Dubois, it would have already been done.
- Elliotte Friedman
If Dubois isn't a player for the Montreal Canadiens today and at the time of speaking, it's precisely because Kent Hughes does not want to trade Dach. And he's right not to want to part with him.
A case that we continue to closely follow!
