Capitals Hit With One Bad and One Good Injury Update Ahead of Tomorrow's Game 5

We have two announcements, live from the Washington Capitals' morning skate today, including one involving Alexander Ovechkin.
First, a surprising update, as the great Ovechkin is indeed missing.
It's important to know that Ovechkin never takes a day off, so this suggests he is dealing with something and it might not be minor.
Do I think Ovechkin will miss tomorrow night's game?
Absolutely not (unless an announcement to the contrary comes from the Capitals in the next few minutes), but it's still good to know that he seems to be dealing with something.
Clearly, he also took quite a beating from the Montreal Canadiens players.
Everything suggests he will return to the lineup as early as tomorrow night for Game 5.
"No Ovechkin on the ice today for Caps practice.
For the first time this series, Protas has found his stride again.
The idea of seeing him play in Game 5 now seems much more realistic."
- Eric Engels, Sportsnet
We will keep you updated on any further developments regarding these situations.
Protas, 24 years old, is a 6-foot-6, 225-pound forward who has tallied 66 points in 76 games this season (30 goals), with 65 of those points coming at 5-on-5.
He has only one point on the power play, which is really impressive.
Protas ranks as the 9th highest scorer in the entire National Hockey League at 5-on-5, which is quite incredible.
He will definitely be a player to watch.
