Tensions Boil at Canadiens Practice as Martin St-Louis Snaps at Several Players
The pressure is mounting for the Montreal Canadiens, who will be facing elimination tomorrow night in Washington, and it showed in the final moments of practice.
After a sloppy defensive zone drill involving three players, head coach Martin St-Louis lost his patience.

I don't mind seeing this kind of intensity!
Martin St-Louis loses his patience before flying to Washington
This team is not ready to quit, and clearly, St-Louis refuses to see his squad eliminated in just five games.
If the Canadiens manage to pull off a win tomorrow night in Washington, they'll have a chance to bring the series back home for Game 6, which would take place Friday night at the Bell Centre.
That's clearly the goal right now!
St-Louis also said this during a press conference:
Martin St-Louis on his team being used to having their backs against the wall and proving doubters wrong:
"I feel all year we've had that mentality where everything looks like it's going the wrong way so to speak and we get up and speak."

Brendan Gallagher also gave us a good hint about the current mindset in the locker room:
"Brendan Gallagher says he along with the players who were on the 2021 team will draw from their experience coming back from 3-1 down vs. Toronto and do their best to relay that message to the younger guys on the team as they prepare for Game 5."
