A lot of rumors are circulating around the Maple Leafs organization. Changes are expected to come sooner than later in Toronto.
After the Leafs' Core Four was under fire for their poor performances in the second round of the playoffs, Don Cherry gave his opinion about them and it surprised many people.

The controversial Don Cherry is known to have strong opinions and never being afraid to share them. He honoured his reputation by making the following statement about the situation in Toronto:
"People are upset, but it will settle down in a few weeks. You don't keep changing the coach and management. You just work on it for next season."
He would keep everyone on board. Keefe, Dubas, Shanahan as well as Matthews, Tavares, Nylander and Marner.
At this point, the problem is so deep in the organization that I'm not sure a personnel change would solve everything.
The Maple Leafs are doomed to fail every. single. time.
On the other hand, you have former player Carlo Colaiacovo who places the blame solely on the players for the Leafs' failures.
