SURPRISE: the Canadiens have recalled Logan Mailloux

The Canadiens have just recalled defenseman Logan Mailloux.

Indeed, we've just had a big surprise, a few minutes after the game against the Red Wings in Detroit and a few hours before the match against the Red Wings in Montreal.

He is expected to play in the last game of the regular season for the CH, a very nice gift for Mailloux and an absolutely deserved one.

Mailloux, 21 years old, 6 feet 3 inches tall, and 220 pounds, is a 1st round pick of the Habs in 2021.

He has accumulated 47 points, including 14 goals, in 70 games this season for the Laval Rocket.

His recall seems to indicate that Kaiden Guhle will not be ready to return to the game tomorrow, and therefore, it can be assumed that his 2023-24 season is over.

Kaiden Guhle, 22 years old, 16th overall pick in 2020 (1st round), has collected 22 points in 70 games this season, while maintaining a -8 differential while consistently playing against the opposing teams' best players.
