Revelation Emerges as Canadiens Land Nick Suzuki's Former Roommate

Journalist Arpon Basu made an interesting revelation regarding captain Nick Suzuki and a summer acquisition by the Montreal Canadiens.
According to Basu, Noah Dobson and Nick Suzuki were indeed roommates during Team Canada's World Junior training camp in 2019.
They stayed in touch afterward, so the two players already knew each other very well, and this was even the case before the trade between the Canadiens and the Islanders was announced.

We are very eager to see what these two will be able to accomplish on the ice to lead the Canadiens toward a strong playoff run.
Let's not forget, of course, that Dobson was acquired by Kent Hughes and Jeff Gorton last June, on draft day, in exchange for young forward Emil Heineman as well as two 2025 first-round picks.
It will certainly be an added benefit for Dobson to already know some players in the Canadiens locker room, including Kaiden Guhle, who could very well be his defense partner.
