Opinions are certainly divided when it comes to Patrik Laine. While many want to see him back in town next fall, others would prefer he leave the organization.
As for the 27-year-old Finn, he admitted to journalists during his end-of-season media availability that he enjoyed his first season with the Montreal Canadiens organization.
He even mentioned that he achieved his ultimate goal this year.
"The only real objective I had for myself this season was to have fun," added Laine.
I achieved that, truly.
For me, it was a success, because I was able to enjoy this wonderful sport again."

Patrik Laine takes a jab at Montreal Canadiens journalists
That being said, there was one thing he didn't like about being in the city - the journalists.
Even though he said it jokingly, there's a hint of truth behind his words..
"It was everybody involved, but not you guys [referring to the journalists]
You weren't part of it, but I'm talking about the whole organization, the guys on the team, and the city."
- Patrik Laine
He then paused briefly before saying he was joking..
Still, even if Laine doesn't seem to like journalists, he does enjoy speaking to them.
Throughout the season, he often made statements that ended up doing more harm than good, not just to himself, but also to the team.
Most notably, there was his comment ahead of the game against the Columbus Blue Jackets, when he said his former team had a loser's mentality.
Laine's performance in that game ended up being very difficult, and he didn't even finish it.
His words, in fact, seemed to ignite his former teammates, who battled the Canadiens all the way to the final game for a playoff spot.
